Renovation of Bijouterie Latendresse

Project description

This complete transformation of Bijouterie Latendresse, located at Promenades Gatineau, marks a milestone in the modernization of its retail spaces. The mandate was to turn the store into a contemporary, bright and uncluttered environment while showcasing the jewellery and watch collections. The work included the complete demolition of the former store, the full renewal of the installations and the design of an up-to-date layout. The whole is enhanced by high-end custom counters and furniture, exceptionally fine glazing and a carefully selected range of ceramics.

Challenges

Completely demolishing an existing space in the heart of an operating shopping centre in order to rebuild it from scratch was a first-rate logistical challenge. Coordinating the trades and meeting the schedule required rigorous control. Fabricating and installing the custom furniture, combined with the careful integration of the glazed elements and the ceramics, demanded absolute precision. Delivering a high-end finish within a controlled timeframe called for constant attention to detail, from the first structural steps to the final polish.
